Edoardo Di Cicco attended the Bologna conservatory “G.B.Martini”, where he graduated in clarinet with full marks in 2011. Then he continued his studies at the Fiesole Music School with Giovanni Riccucci and in Rome with Calogero Palermo.

From 2015 to 2017 he attended the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he obtained a master’s degree in clarinet under the guidance of Hans Colbers and Arno Piters.
Since 2012 he succeeded in several competitions, among which the victory in the “S.Mercadante” 10th International Clarinet Competition in 2014 deserves a special note.

After many youth orchestras experiences as principal clarinet, such as in the Orchestra of Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza and in the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, in 2017 he joined the “L.Cherubini” Youth Orchestra led by Riccardo Muti.
After that he began his career as a professional clarinetist performing in the Teatro Massimo di Palermo Orchestra, Teatro Comunale di Bologna Orchestra, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli Orchestra, Teatro La Fenice di Venezia Orchestra, Orchestra Mozart, Teatro La Scala di Milano and Filarmonica della Scala Orchestra.

In 2021 he was appointed as Principal Clarinet of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra, led by Zubin Mehta.
