« The attributes of the BG accessories positively enhance my performance and expression on saxophone and clarinet, enabling me to achieve the best professional results »

"Patricia López has put together a wonderful collection of very personal musical stories with her new project Wanderlust. Her music reflects a humanistic quality, full of emotion and innocence. This ambitious recording offers the listener the opportunity to experience the world as they hear it through its own wide range of textures and sounds."

At the same time, she is a member of the Departmental Orchestra of Maldonado, directs the collective "Women of Ibero-America in Jazz", the organization "Worldwide Sax Alliance" (www.worldwidesaxalliance.com), holds private events and gives private lessons.

Fuego (2024) is the second album by Patricia López, the renowned saxophonist, flutist, composer, teacher, producer and first woman winner of the Graffiti Awards for Uruguayan Music in the Jazz category.

It was in the province of Río Negro, in Argentine Patagonia, where the cold did not prevent candombe, chacarera and zamba rhythms from igniting and merging with contemporary jazz, by the hand of the local group Trio del Fin del Mundo: Leonardo Álvarez (drums), Jesús Fernández (piano) and Andrés Fuhr (double bass).

With the special participation of Julia Inés Ponce on vocals, Patricia managed to gather the ideal team at “RAG Estudio” (General Roca) and record Fuego that is now available on all digital platforms.

It is an album as free as it is structured, which is based on the song genre; at times visceral, always within contemporary jazz crossed by rhythms from the River Plate. In addition to exhibiting her own compositions, Patricia also pays tribute in two songs to her teachers Ramiro Flores (ARG) and Rich Perry (USA).

The recording of the album was accompanied by the filming of the process and post-editing of a mini documentary available on Youtube.
