At the age of 14 and in company with a group of friends, he decided to start his musical education with the aim of creating a new proposal for the musical stage. That was why he attended The Luis Manuel Gutierrez School of Music at Juan Griego on the Venezuelan Island of Margarita.
There, he had the opportunity to study popular and classical guitar, clarinet, saxophone, and musical theory. Next year, he became a clarinet teacher for new students (beginners). He was studying and teaching in the National Network of Youth and Children Orchestras of Venezuela (El Sistema).
Starting the currently year (2018) he have the opportunity to be the director of the music school Guitar Strum in Mexico city with so many bigs projects in mind, have his own symphonic orchestra is one of them.

Hector’s career has evolved in a fast way.
He has had the chance to tour different countries with very distinguished bands and groups such as Orquesta Latino Caribeña Simón Bolívar, Simón Bolívar Jazz Big Band, Ensamble de saxofones del conservatorio Simón Bolívar, and Orquesta Sinfonica Simón Bolívar. All these prestigious groups belong to Fundamusical Simón Bolívar (National Network of Youth and Children Orchestras of Venezuela).
Moreover, Hector has had the privilege to perform with world-famous artists such as Ruben Blades (Singer), Oscar D'leon (singer), Gilberto Santa Rosa (singer), Ferrer Ferran, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra (band) , Rawayana (band), Jan van der Roost (composer), Johan De Meij (composer), Jean Pierre Beratdlrand(saxophonist), Henk Van Tiller (saxophonist), Desorden Público (band), Aquiles Baez (composer) and Leo Blanco (composer).
The core of Hector’s development as a musician is his very own musical project named QuintilloEns. In this band, he acts as its musical director, composer, saxophonist, and keyboardist. El QuintilloEns is a band with Venezuelan roots and has been designated as the most interesting proposal of the last 30 years in the cultural scene of Venezuela by the famed Venezuelan magazine LADOSIS
