The Italian saxophone quartet Elise Hall, formed in March 2006, sought to pay tribute to one of the 20th century's most influential female musical figures who significantly expanded the classical saxophone repertoire: Elise Hall, who, in addition to being one of the first female saxophonists, dedicated her life to this instrument.

The group members, trained at the conservatories of Ferrara and Milan, can boast collaborations with the Filarmonica della Scala, the Filarmonica del Teatro La Fenice, and the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.

The ensemble has won awards in national and international competitions and has an extensive concert activity as part of events such as La Biennale di Venezia, Atlante Sonoro in Rome, MITO Fringe in Milan, and the Como Città della Musica Festival.
Since 2012, the quartet has collaborated with various artists, including the renowned English composer and pianist Michael Nyman, who invited them to perform his compositions during his Italian tours, dedicating new pieces to them. In 2019, their album Crossfades was released under the Da Vinci Publishing label.
