Born in Reggio di Calabria (RC) on 21 July 2001, Annamaria Savitteri began her musical studies at the “V. Bellini” Conservatory of Caltanissetta with Frederico Alba, obtaining in 2020 the First-Level Academic Diploma with a final grade of 110/110 with highest honors.

In the same year, she enrolled in the biennial master’s program at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Milan under the guidance of Mario Marzi, earning in 2022 the Second-Level Academic Diploma with a final grade of 110/110, highest honors, and special distinction.

In 2025, she obtained a further Second-Level Academic Diploma in Chamber Music with the ensemble “Amat Saxophone Quartet,” achieving 110/110 with highest honors and special distinction, under the guidance of Emanuela Piemonti.

From November 2015 to March 2016, Annamaria was a member of the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra at the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo (PA).

Since 2021, she has carried out an intense concert activity with the Amat Saxophone Quartet, performing at numerous chamber music and contemporary music festivals in Italy and abroad, collaborating with composers and participating in television productions.

Since 2022, she has collaborated as a saxophonist with the “Roma 3 Orchestra,” a Roman-based orchestra, under the artistic direction of Valerio Vicari.

She maintains an important concert activity both as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles. Notable performances include: the “4th Treviso International Saxophone Festival” with pianist Ferdinando Mussutto; “Il Bosco delle Emozioni” in collaboration with RAI and pianist Maurizio Baglini; the opening of the “XX Rondò” with the Divertimento Ensemble of Milan; the “23rd Rencontres Musicales Méditerranéennes” in Bastia (Corsica); several solo concerts with the “R3O” at the Museo del Saxofono and Villa Torlonia within the series “La musica è una cosa meravigliosa”; as well as performances at the Teatro Palladium, the Ducal Palace of Genoa, and the “26th Pordenone Music Festival” with pianist Irena Ristovic.

She has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions, including: First Absolute Prize at the “13th Maria Elisa Di Fatta Competition” in Cefalù (PA); First Prize at the “International Competition G. Rospigliosi” in Pistoia; First Absolute Prize at the “My Favourite Sax” Competition in Empoli; First Absolute Prize at the “R3O Sax Contest” in Rome; and First Absolute Prize at the “6th International Diapason d’Oro Competition” in Pordenone.

In 2024, she won the competition for the position of Principal Soprano Saxophone in B-flat (1st Part A) in the Italian Navy Band, conducted by Captain Antonio Barbagallo.

Her education has been enriched through participation in numerous masterclasses with internationally renowned saxophonists, including Jean-Marie Londeix, Jérôme Laran, Claude Delangle, Vincent David, and Asya Fateyeva.
